Fred Reiter

Fred has a Post-Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning with the Securities Institute of Australia, a Bachelor of Accountancy at University of South Australia, has gained Certified Financial Planner (CFP) status through and is a member of the Financial Planning Association of Australia.

Fred has been with CPB since 1999 and is a valued member of our Adviser group.

Fred worked with Centrelink for 20 years and prior to joining CPB was a Financial Information Service Officer at the local Port Adelaide office. As such he was required to clarify Centrelink regulations and interpretations not only for Centrelink staff but also for Financial Planners and Advisers throughout the Western suburbs. It was indeed a natural progression for him to gain his own advising license giving CPB's clients ready access to his knowledge and experience.

As one could expect, Fred specialises in Superannuation and Retirement Planning helping provide people with a seamless transition from working life to one that maximises income through both Centrelink entitlements and investment potential. When not working or enjoying time with his family, Fred is a keen fisherman and can often be seen boating along the waters off Largs and North Haven.

Fred is an Authorised Representative of the Securitor Financial Group.


Michael McCabe

Michael has the Diploma of Financial Planning, is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and member of the Financial Planning Association of Australia and has over 28 years experience in the financial services industry.

Michael is a one of our key Planners and plays an integral role in giving advice to clients at CPB.

Michael joined CPB in 1995 following a corporate career with National Mutual / T&G, including roles in Administration and Retail Financial Services, culminating (immediately prior to joining CPB) in a period as the State Manger for National Mutual Financial Planning.

Michael's areas of specialisation are Retirement & Investment Planning where he uses his extensive financial background and Centrelink knowledge to craft good outcomes for our clients. Michael provides advice to people wanting to save for retirement ensuring that they have access to tax effective strategies to maximise savings and therefore potential returns.

Away form the Office, Michael's family keeps him busy, (with netball, soccer and cricket just a few of the McCabe family sporting endeavours) and he is an avid V8 Supercar fan.Michael survives well down at the Port (unfortunately sometimes thrives(!)) even though he is a fan of the Adelaide Football Club.

Robert Steventon

Robert Steventon

Robert has been in the financial services industry since 1988 when he joined the Executor Trustee as an 18 year old and since then has had a variety of roles with fund managers and service providers. He has worked in administrative capacities as well providing technical backup and support to the Financial Planners of those organisations.

Robert first joined CPB in 1994 and after having a sabbatical in 2001 to pursue a corporate role with AXA Australia returned to CPB in 2003.

Today Robert is a Financial Planner holding Certified Financial Planner (CFP) status and membership of the Financial Planning Association of Australia. He provides advicedesigned to helpour clients reach their individual goals and financial potentials. That may mean helping them plan for a comfortable retirement, investing for events along the way,or protecting families and businesses by making sure that funds are available in the case of unforeseen circumstances such as illness, accident or death.

His broad knowledge of financial strategy enables Robert to give quality advice, assisting people to invest wisely and make the most of what they have. It is the same broad knowledge and experience that enablesRobertto compliment the services and advice provided by our other Planners.

Robert is married with one child and enjoys keeping fit through running and cycling.

Robert is also an Authorised Representative of Securitor Financial Group.

Vanita Barry

Vanita has been with CPB since 2007 initially as a paraplanner writing technical reports, having previously had 10 years experience in small business, (and before that a number of years as a local police officer). In her paraplanning role Vanita worked closely with all our planners to develop strategy advice and quality documents. Over the last few years Vanita has developed her capacity as a financial planner, leveraging off the considerable expertise and skills of her peers in CPB.

This combination of experience and study has meant that Vanita is well placed to assist people through the process of discovering the best solutions for their financial challenges,helping them to achieve their lifestyle goals and objectives with confidence and clarity.

Married with three children, when not working it's most likely that you'll find Vanita at a sports ground, be it football (aussie rules), football (soccer!), baseball or netball, in a coaching, scoring or supporting role. Thankfully she is a Power supporter.

Vanita has completed her qualifications for the Advanced Diploma of Financial Services (ADFS) through Kaplan Professional. Vanita is an Authorised Representative of Securitor Financial Group Limited.

With almost 20 years’ experience at some of Australia’s premier advice organisations, (including AMP and BT) as well as working for the Australian Securities Investment Commission, Keiran brings a wealth of experience and perspective in helping clients reach their financial and lifestyle goals.

Keiran is passionate about seeing people make the most of their situation, working closely with them to implement the plans that best suit their needs.  Keiran is able to cover the full range of financial planning issues from insurance and risk management needs through to investment and retirement income planning.

Keiran is a Certified Financial Planner ® with the Financial Planning Association. He also holds a Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance and Investment, a Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning and a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Adelaide. Keiran was also recently nominated as a finalist for a national adviser quality award.

Away from work Keiran is married and has two young children who keep him busy. He is an avid sports supporter and loves going to see a game live at Adelaide Oval or Hindmarsh stadium.
